is a Tvlse-based illustrator, performer, writer, director, cartoonist, and calligrapher. He dabbles in medieval history, the occult, theatre, and any of a number of other enterprises. His most recent graphic novel, The Ardent, is now available from Field Mouse Press!

​Carl currently teaches creative writing at the University of Tulsa and Lesley University. He also co-hosts a monthly weird music night called One Aux, ​and records unpleasant and harrowing sounds as Open Casket Soundsystem.
